Atle began his career in 1984 when he started “Band on the Run” in his hometown. Eventually moving to Oslo, Norway, his reputation as a bassplayer began to land him gigs with artists such as Vestlandsfanden, Terje Tysland, Johns Quijote, Vidar Busk, Liz Tove Vespestad, J.T. Lauritsen, G-Sten, Trond Granlund and Linda Kvam just to mention a few!

Several of these artists he has produced as well - including “My Kind Of Blues”, and in 2001, “Make A Better World”, with J.T. Lauritsen.

Atle has played with The Buckshot Hunters since 1997.
